Julius Granell's "FEO 2" is a superb guitar-fueled drone nocturnal album. It swims among the waves of a vernal yet a bit hazy panorama in which one can perceive the depicted buildings and architectural prowess of a chemical distance, completely isolated in a protective veil of solitude emphasized by an atypically cosmic fragility. Small traces of dissonances wash over the scenery creating an aura filled with mist but not terrifying at all. FEO2 depicts more of a deep enigmatic dream than a spine-tingling nightmare and the artwork which adorns the cover, arose from the visionary creativity of the great artist Stella Hagemann, is the perfect runway for gathering every metaphor which is necessary to face this journey and, digging further inside, the allegory of the trip itself.
